FORMATION
Après trois années d'études aux Beaux-Arts, il a poursuivi son cursus à Bruxelles au CAD, se spécialisant en architecture d'intérieur et en design industriel. Il valide son master 2 après un stage aux Ateliers Jean Nouvel, où il a contribué au projet du Musée national du Qatar. Il travaille également aux Seychelles où on lui confie le design complet de l'île Soleil (Route, plage, espace vert, résidence, pont...) et cela pour le compte du président des Seychelles de l'époque (James Michel). Le projet enregistré aux cadastre poursuit sa construction. Après son retour de cet archipel, il a intégré le secteur de l'architecture d'intérieur de luxe à Bruxelles et à Paris, servant une clientèle exigeante, notamment des collectionneurs d'art. Parallèlement, il a continué de cultiver sa passion pour la peinture, laquelle a acquis une dimension résolument spirituelle. Ces riches expériences ont profondément influencé sa perception du design, l'incitant à répondre aux besoins du marché tout en plaçant l'aspect artistique sur un pied d'égalité avec la fonctionnalité. Cette démarche a donné naissance en 2013 à la marque "Le Design Français". Pierre Philippe travaille en Normandie depuis janvier 2018, mêlant les réalisations de design de mobilier, d’architecture d’intérieur, d’art (sculptures et peintures) et d'exposition (Argentan, Paris, Honfleur, Singapour, Tokyo).

EDUCATION
After three years of studies at the Beaux-Arts, he continued his education in Brussels at the CAD, specializing in interior architecture and industrial design. He completed his Master's degree after an internship at Ateliers Jean Nouvel, where he contributed to the project for the National Museum of Qatar. He also worked in the Seychelles, where he was entrusted with the complete design of Île Soleil (roads, beach, green spaces, residences, bridges...) on behalf of the then-president of the Seychelles, James Michel. The project, recorded in the land register, continues to be constructed. Upon his return from the archipelago, he joined the luxury interior architecture sector in Brussels and Paris, serving a demanding clientele, including art collectors. At the same time, he continued to cultivate his passion for painting, which took on a decidedly spiritual dimension. These rich experiences have deeply influenced his perception of design, prompting him to meet the needs of the market while placing the artistic aspect on an equal footing with functionality. This approach gave rise to the "Le Design Français" brand in 2013. Since January 2018, Pierre Philippe has been working in Normandy, combining furniture design, interior architecture, art (sculptures and paintings), and exhibitions (Argentan, Paris, Honfleur, Singapore, Tokyo) in his work.
