En 2011, Pierre Philippe a eu la chance de se voir proposer un projet d’îles artificielles à designer. Le projet qui émanait de la présidence consistait à donner un nouveau visage aux Seychelles à travers des îles artificielles (Aurore, Soleil et Persévérance) et la capitale Victoria. La totalité de l’île Soleil lui a été confiée.
Le design proposé était un style post-colonial qui respectait l’identité architecturale des Seychelles. Ce design global a inclus la création des condominiums, des simplex,des duplex, des routes, des parkings, des espaces verts, des plages, des rivières et des ponts. Le projet a été présenté lors de l’exposition présidentielle et après une large approbation par la population, la construction a commencé et est toujours en cour de construction selon les plans initiaux.
l’île L’île est divisée en trois parties grâces à la créations de deux rivières. Ces cours d’eau permettent de dynamiser les eaux stagnantes tout en créant des vues sur l’eau pour les habitations autour. Chaque partie de l’île a une fonction
spéciale. La première concerne les habitations, l’école, les commerces et le sport. La seconde regroupe les condominiums organisés en petits groupes,destiné à l’activité hôtelière. La route traverse l’île en desservant chaque partie rapidement.

In 2011, Pierre Philippe had the opportunity to be offered a project to design artificial islands. The project, initiated by the presidency, aimed to give a new face to the Seychelles through artificial islands (Aurore, Soleil, and Persévérance) and the capital Victoria. The entire Soleil Island was entrusted to him.
The proposed design followed a post-colonial style that respected the architectural identity of the Seychelles. This comprehensive design included the creation of condominiums, simplex and duplex houses, roads, parking lots, green spaces, beaches, rivers, and bridges. The project was presented at the presidential exhibition, and after receiving broad approval from the population, construction began and is still ongoing according to the initial plans.
The island is divided into three parts thanks to the creation of two rivers. These watercourses help to revitalize stagnant waters while providing water views for the surrounding properties. Each part of the island serves a specific purpose. The first part includes residential areas, schools, shops, and sports facilities. The second part consists of condominiums organized in small groups, intended for hotel activities. A road traverses the island, providing quick access to each part.
